Tension arose in Gudibanda village in Kodad mandal, Suryapet District when some people tried to attack former MPP Kavitha. They claimed that she had built her house on their land. The protesters set up a tent outside Kavitha’s house to demonstrate their discontent. However, clashes broke out between the protesters and Kavitha’s supporters when she prevented the locals from entering her premises. The protesters were furious and physically assaulted Kavitha by pulling her hair. They demanded that she face consequences for land encroachment and vowed to continue their protest until they receive justice.
