Meela Jayadev has been appointed as the new president of the Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI) for the year 2023-2024. He took over from Anil Agarwal during a Change of Guard meeting held at Federation House in Red Hills on Saturday. Suresh Kumar Singhal was elected as the Senior Vice President of FTCCI.
Meela Jayadev is the managing director of Sudhakar Irrigation Systems Pvt Ltd, Director of Sudhakar PVC Products Pvt Ltd, and Sudhakar Polymers Pvt Ltd. His company is the largest manufacturer of PVC pipes and fittings in South India and is well-known for plastic piping systems in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Orissa. They also manufacture wires, cables, and UPVC doors and window profiles.
In his acceptance speech, Meela Jayadev mentioned that his focus during his tenure as president would be to represent the industry, commerce, and trade and create a favorable environment for businesses. He aims to address issues and promote sustainable industrial development.
