    Gadwal – District Principal Judge N. Premalatha has called on local authorities to help settle as many legal cases as possible through mutual agreement during the upcoming National Lok Adalat on June 14.

    Speaking at a meeting with police officers at the Gadwal court on Friday, she stressed the importance of resolving disputes through peaceful compromise. Judge Premalatha urged officials to talk to both sides in criminal cases and explain the advantages of settling matters outside of court.

    She pointed out that when people reach an agreement early, they save time, money, and stress. Repeated court visits and legal fees often become a heavy burden for those involved in long legal battles.

    Describing compromise as the “royal path” to justice, the judge said it offers faster and more peaceful outcomes. She asked police officers to find cases suitable for settlement and guide people on how compromise can benefit them.

    The meeting included Principal Senior Civil Judge V. Srinivas, Principal Junior Civil Judge N.V.H. Poojitha, Assistant Public Prosecutor Sanjana, DSP Mogulayya, as well as Circle Inspectors, Sub-Inspectors, and other police staff.

    At the end of the session, both the judiciary and police departments agreed to work together to resolve as many disputes as possible during the Lok Adalat. The goal is to boost public confidence in the legal system by offering fair and speedy solutions.
