Grand Celebration of Pagunta Venkanna Swami Rathotsavam in Gadwal
Today, a grand celebration took place in KT Doddi Mandal, Gadwal constituency, for the annual Brahmotsavam festival of Sri Sri Pagunta Lakshmi Venkateshwara Swami. Gadwal MLA, Bandla Krishna Mohan Reddy, visited the temple to offer special prayers to the deity and seek blessings.
After the rituals, the MLA participated in the Rathotsavam, which is a chariot festival. He conducted poojas for the chariot and personally pulled it to mark the beginning of the festival.
While addressing the gathering, the MLA expressed his joy for the start of the festive season in Telangana. He said that the Brahmotsavam festival had begun in Venkatapuram village and the spirit of celebration would soon spread across the state.
The MLA also prayed for the well-being of farmers and citizens. He wished for good health, prosperity, and happiness for everyone, along with abundant crops for the coming years.
The MLA assured the people that all necessary arrangements had been made to ensure the comfort of devotees attending the festival.
Several important people joined the event, including Agricultural Market Committee Chairman Kurava Hanumanthu, Senior Congress leader Gaddam Krishna Reddy, and other leaders like Chakradhar Rao Urukundu, Naveen Reddy, and Yugandhar Goud. Local activists and youth members also participated in the celebrations, making the event a grand success.
