Hyderabad: The GAMA Awards have become a cherished event in Tollywood. After four successful editions in Dubai, the 5th GAMA Awards is set for August 30 at the Sharjah Expo Centre. Vaibhav Jewellers hosted a curtain-raiser in the city on Sunday to announce this year’s event.
Saurabh Keshri, CEO of GAMA, along with Vaibhav Jewellers’ MD Raghav, jury members, and famous film figures like Directors A. Kodandarami Reddy, B. Gopal, actresses Faria Abdullah, Manasa Varanasi, Daksha Nagarkar, and actor Viva Harsha attended the event.
Saurabh Keshri stated, “This event is a tribute to my father Trimurtulu and his admiration for artists. With support, we aim to make future awards even more spectacular and expand to other countries. This year’s event will captivate Telugu audiences worldwide. Our jury has thoughtfully chosen the winners.”
Director A. Kodandarami Reddy expressed his excitement about being a jury member, along with others like B. Gopal and music director Koti. He remarked, “Awards like these energize and inspire artists. I look forward to a successful event.”
Raghav from Vaibhav Jewellers, the main sponsor, said, “We are honored to be part of this prestigious event.”
Faria Abdullah shared her excitement about performing again, while Manasa Varanasi will debut her performance at the awards. Daksha Nagarkar expressed her thrill in participating.
Viva Harsha, co-hosting with anchor Suma, mentioned, “Partnering with Suma garu is thrilling. Expect a show full of entertainment.”
Special guests will include legendary comedian Brahmanandam, directors Sukumar, Buchibabu Sana, Bobby, Sai Rajesh, music director Devi Sri Prasad, producers Ashwini Dutt, DVV Danayya, lyricist Chandrabose, and actor Vennela Kishore, among others.
The GAMA Awards 2025 will celebrate the best of Tollywood’s 24 crafts, acknowledging films from 2024. The expert jury will select the winners in each category.
