    The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) started the Prajavani program at its headquarters on Monday. The city Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi asked officials to address public grievances within a week. During a public address program, the Mayor and Deputy Mayor Srilata Shobhan Reddy received 86 applications from the public and assured them that their issues would be resolved.

    Vijayalakshmi explained that the Prajavani program would take place every Monday from 10:30 am to 1 pm at the zone and circle office. She instructed officials to resolve complaints received through Prajavani and submit a report every Saturday. Every application would be given a receipt, and the goal was to resolve each one within a week. The authorities were also required to provide information on the total number of applications received and how many grievances were resolved.

    Several officials, including Engineer in Chief Zia Uddin, Additional Commissioners Upender Reddy, Yadagi Rao, Jayaraj Kennedy, Saroja, Prema Chander Reddy, CCP Rajendra Prasad Naik, CE Devanand, Chief Health Officer Dr Padmaja, and Chief Entomology Dr Rambabu, were present during the program.
