Hyderabad is getting ready for an exciting summer with the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) launching its annual summer coaching camp for 2025. This camp is specially designed for children aged 6 to 16 years, offering them a fun and healthy way to spend their holidays.
The camp focuses on building physical fitness and teaching core sports skills. It gives kids a chance to learn and play under proper guidance while taking a break from academic pressure.
GHMC is offering training in 44 different sports and games this year. These activities will take place at 29 multi-sports complexes, 13 swimming pools, and over 521 playgrounds across the city.
To support the program, GHMC has brought together a strong team, including 77 part-time coaches, 76 swimming coaches and lifeguards, and around 800 honorarium coaches. These professionals will guide kids in all six GHMC zones, ensuring quality training.
One of the biggest attractions of the camp is roller-skating, which will be held at 915 centers across Greater Hyderabad. These sessions will run in the mornings from 6:15 AM to 8:15 AM.
The main goal of the camp is to keep children active, help them learn new skills, and offer a positive and stress-free environment during their vacation.
Parents can register their children for roller-skating and other sports online at sports.ghmc.gov.in.
