Hyderabad: In a significant announcement, Minister for IT and Industries Duddilla Sridhar Babu revealed that the Telangana government, under Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, has appointed 57,000 people to government jobs in just one year. He called it a major national achievement.
The Minister shared this news while inaugurating a new building at Natco Zilla Parishad High School in Kothur, located in Shadnagar constituency.
He highlighted the government’s strong focus on improving public education. According to him, all government schools will soon have digital classrooms, aiming to raise education standards through expert planning and modern tools.
Sridhar Babu stressed the importance of giving students in government schools the same opportunities as those in private institutions. He said new technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI) are being added to the curriculum so students can be prepared for the future.
He also pointed out that government teachers now receive long-overdue promotions. The state has launched ‘Amma Committees’, which include parents and community members, to help monitor and improve school functioning.
Responding to critics, the Minister said the opposition’s attacks are politically driven and lack substance. He questioned how those who failed to build houses for the poor over the last ten years could now blame a government that is actively working to fulfill its promises.
He reaffirmed that the Indiramma housing scheme will reach every eligible citizen step by step, ensuring fair and inclusive development across the state.
The event also saw the presence of Shadnagar MLA K Shankaraiah and Natco representatives Lakshminarayana and PSRK Prasad.
