Hyderabad: The Telangana government has approved a new Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT) campus in Mahabubnagar. It will open in the academic year 2025-26. This decision came after proposals from the Telangana Council of Higher Education and the Commissioner of Technical Education.
The new campus will offer undergraduate courses in Computer Science and Engineering. These courses will focus on artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science. An admission notification has been released for 180 seats. Though the campus has been approved, details about the budget and staffing will be announced later. The Vice Chancellor (in-charge) of RGUKT Basar and the Commissioner of Technical Education will ensure the campus is set up and ready for operation.
