Hyderabad: BRS leaders criticized the NDSA report about the Kaleshwaram project and urged the government to start repairs right away. BRS working president KT Rama Rao insisted that while the project’s construction was of good quality, the actions of the Congress and BJP were not.
Rama Rao mentioned that L&T dismissing the NDSA report was a major setback for the Congress and BJP. He claimed the report lacked proper tests and scientific backing, aiming only to tarnish the BRS reputation.
He continued, stating that the Central agency produced an unscientific report to harm BRS during the Assembly elections. Rao accused the Congress and BJP of using this report to disrupt the BRS silver jubilee meeting.
KTR labeled the NDSA report on the Medigadda barrage as misleading. He asserted that L&T‘s recent stance confirmed BRS‘s previous claims.
He further alleged that the report was crafted in the central offices of the Congress and BJP in Delhi for political gains. Rao criticized CM Revanth and the government for supporting this report, highlighting their ineffective policies.
Rao pointed out that the Polavaram project’s diaphragm wall was quickly repaired, unlike the Medigadda project, which has been stalled for 18 months. He demanded that the government and NDSA stop discrediting the Kaleshwaram project, which was constructed with high standards, and address L&T’s concerns.
