Government served notices by HC for concealing facts in election petition by Minister V Srinivas Goud

The High Court in Telangana has issued notices to the State government and Chaluvagali Raghavendra Raju, who filed a petition against Minister V Srinivas Goud. Raju is seeking a direction for the police to register a case against the Minister for suppressing information before the Returning Officer. The Special Court had already registered an FIR against Goud based on the petition. The court has adjourned the hearing for a week to allow for counter-affidavits to be filed.

In another case, the High Court questioned the Jagtial Municipal Commissioner about illegal constructions by Arya Vysya Sangam on government land. The bench issued notices to various officials involved in the matter and directed them to file replies within four weeks. The court also asked the municipal commissioner to provide information about the actions taken on previous representations regarding the illegal constructions. The hearing in this case has also been adjourned for four weeks.

Overall, the High Court is addressing cases related to alleged suppression of information by a Minister and illegal constructions on government land.
