    Hyderabad: State Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy announced that road projects under the Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM) will speed up soon. He reviewed these projects and their designs with top officials on Wednesday.

    Malreddy Ramreddy, Chairman of the State Road Development Corporation, and Harichandana Dasari, Special Secretary to R&B, joined the meeting. They planned steps to secure Cabinet approval for the road projects during a meeting on Thursday.

    Officials identified a total of 5,190 km of roads for HAM Phase-I. They provided detailed estimates, explained implementation procedures, and discussed funding methods. The HAM model aims to enhance connectivity between rural and urban areas and build high-quality roads quickly.

    Reddy stated, “HAM will significantly advance the development of R&B and Panchayat roads in the state. Quality roads without potholes help people travel safely, quickly, and comfortably. These projects are designed to achieve that.” He emphasized that road construction will follow public interest, strengthen connectivity between urban and rural areas, and support state growth.
