Hyderabad: Harish Rao, a prominent BRS leader and former minister, has approached the Telangana High Court. He filed a petition to prevent the PC Ghose Commission report on the Kaleshwaram project from being presented in the Assembly.

Harish Rao asked the court to stop any actions based on the commission’s findings, even though the report has already been presented and discussed in the Legislative Assembly. He requested that no measures be taken until the High Court reaches a final decision on the case.

The Ghose Commission criticized former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for damage to three barrages: Medigadda, Sundilla, and Annaram. The report highlighted that the previous BRS government increased the project’s costs without proper scientific methods and constructed it in violation of structural designs.
