Health Minister urged by TTGDA to settle outstanding salaries

The Telangana Government Teaching Doctors Association (TTGDA) in Hyderabad is requesting the Health Minister T Harish Rao to pay their overdue salaries for a period of 56 months, from January 2016 to August 2020. The association’s president, Dr Anwar, along with other members, met with the Health Minister to discuss this matter. They informed him that the file regarding their pending dues has been sitting in the Chief Minister’s office for the past eight months, after being signed by the Finance Minister. The doctors appealed to Harish Rao to expedite the release of their salaries. The Minister assured them that he will speak to the Chief Minister and ensure that the staff receives their salary arrears. In addition to Dr Anwar, the association’s general secretary, Dr Jalagam Tirupati Rao, treasurer, Dr Kiran Prakash, and vice president, Dr Kiran Madala, were also present during the meeting.
