Hyderabad experienced a sudden downpour on Friday evening just as employees prepared to leave their offices. Several parts of the city, such as Jubilee Hills, Banjara Hills, Filmnagar, Hitech City, Kondapur, Lingampalli, Kukatpally, Erragadda, Sanath Nagar, Ameerpet, Panjagutta, Khairatabad, Secunderabad, and Mehidipatnam, were hit hard by the rain.
The heavy rain resulted in significant waterlogging on roads and in low-lying areas. Consequently, severe traffic jams occurred throughout the city. Motorists faced major challenges as they became stuck in slow-moving traffic.
