Multiple areas recorded temperatures in the single digits, with Moulali and the University of Hyderabad registering the lowest minimum temperature at 9.8°C. The cold wave has gripped various parts of the city, bringing relief from the usual warm climate but also prompting residents to pull out their winter wear.
Several localities across Hyderabad experienced chilly conditions throughout the early morning hours. Rajendranagar (ARS) recorded 10.6°C, while the Community Hall in Telecom Colony saw temperatures touch 11.0°C. Other areas including Tirumalagiri at 11.1°C, ESS Macha Bollaram at 11.3°C, and West Maredpally at 11.4°C also experienced similar cold conditions. The widespread drop in temperatures affected both central and peripheral areas of the city.
Mid-range temperatures between 11°C and 12°C were observed in several prominent neighborhoods. Sivaramapalle recorded 11.5°C, Gachibowli saw 11.7°C, and the PHC Centre in Ambedkar Nagar registered 11.8°C. The Picket Health Centre in the Cantonment Area recorded 12.2°C, while ESS Jeedimetla witnessed 12.3°C. The GHMC Circle Office in Rajendranagar reported 12.7°C, and the Vivekanandapuram Community Hall in Neredmet recorded 12.8°C.
The relatively warmer areas within the city still experienced cooler than normal conditions. Begumpet (IMD Office) recorded 13.1°C, matching temperatures at Allabada Water Reservoir, Ziaguda Ranganath Community Hall, Addagutta Community Hall, and Rajiv Nagar Community Hall. Kishanbagh Govt High School and Madhapur both registered 13.4°C, while Mehdipatnam Navodaya Community Hall saw 13.5°C. Musheerabad (Chilkalguda), Shaikpet, and Monda Market all recorded 13.6°C, marking them as the warmest spots in the city during the early morning hours.
