Hyderabad has been experiencing continuous rain for the last four days, causing worry among the people living in the city. This heavy rain came after ten sunny days, surprising many residents. Even though the weather had been clear, the Meteorological Department had warned about upcoming heavy rainfall.

The Hyderabad Meteorological Center has predicted that the rain will continue for the next two days. They have asked residents to stay alert. The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and municipal teams are also prepared to deal with any problems caused by the rain. Authorities have told their field staff to take action to prevent water from collecting on the roads, which could cause issues for traffic and safety.

People are advised to stay indoors unless absolutely necessary. On Friday evening, the city saw a downpour that lasted for about two hours. Some areas received more than 60 mm of rain. Bansilalpet had the highest rainfall with 68.5 mm, followed by Gunfoundry with 68.3 mm, Uppal with 67.0 mm, Begambazar with 62.8 mm, and Nacharam with 61.3 mm.
