The meteorological department has issued a weather alert for several districts across Telangana, warning of intense thunderstorms expected to hit the region during evening and night hours. Sangareddy, Vikarabad, Medak, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Rangareddy, Kamareddy, Siddipet, Nizambad, Nirmal, Sircilla, Adilabad, Asifabad, and Mancherial districts are likely to witness scattered intense thunderstorm activity. Residents in these areas have been advised to stay alert and take necessary precautions during the evening hours.

The weather forecast indicates that other districts across the state will experience relatively calmer conditions with either isolated rainfall or completely dry weather. East Telangana districts are expected to remain mainly dry throughout the day. The weather pattern shows a clear distinction between the western and northern parts of the state, which are bracing for severe weather, and the eastern regions that will likely see minimal precipitation.

The state capital Hyderabad is expected to remain dry until late afternoon, providing clear conditions during the daytime hours. However, the weather is set to change dramatically as evening approaches. The forecast predicts scattered intense thunderstorms in the western, northern, and central parts of Hyderabad city during evening to night hours, potentially affecting daily commute and outdoor activities.

The thunderstorm activity is part of a weather system affecting the northwestern and central parts of Telangana. The intensity of the storms may lead to localized disruptions, including temporary power outages and water logging in low-lying areas. Authorities have not issued any specific evacuation orders, but citizens are being urged to avoid unnecessary travel during the predicted storm hours and to stay indoors when possible.

Weather officials are continuously monitoring the atmospheric conditions and will provide updates as the situation develops. Farmers in the affected districts have been advised to secure their crops and livestock, while urban residents should ensure proper drainage around their properties to prevent water accumulation.
