Hyderabad: Tensions escalated outside the residence of Telangana Former Minister K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) brother-in-law Raj Pakala as a large police force was deployed this evening. In a dramatic turn of events, several key leaders from the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party were arrested after attempting to prevent police from entering the house.

According to sources, the police intended to conduct a search of KTR’s brother-in-law’s residence. However, the house was reportedly empty at the time, with no occupants present. Despite this, BRS leaders gathered at the site to block the entry of law enforcement, resulting in a tense standoff that led to multiple arrests.

The police activity comes just hours after a raid on the farmhouse of KTR’s brother-in-law Raj Pakala, where officials allegedly found foreign liquor being served without proper excise permissions. Cases have been registered concerning the unauthorized possession of imported liquor, heightening scrutiny around the KTR family.

    More details awaited.
