Hyderabad immersed in religious fervour

The 10-day Ganesh Chaturthi festival started in the state capital with lots of excitement and religious devotion on Monday. People have placed idols of Lord Ganesh in their homes and at pandals to pray for prosperity and wisdom. Devotees are performing pujas and special rituals, which will end with the immersion of the idols on September 28.
