Beware of Dangerous Phone Calls: Hyderabad Cybercrime Police Warns Citizens

The Cybercrime Police of Hyderabad has issued an important warning, urging people to stay cautious about answering calls from unknown numbers.

In a statement released on Tuesday, the police listed several suspicious numbers to avoid. These include numbers such as +94777 455913, +37127913091, +56322553736, +37052529259, and +255901130460.

The suspicious calls often originate from international country codes like +371 (Latvia), +375 (Belarus), +381 (Serbia), +563 (Chile), +370 (Lithuania), and +255 (Tanzania). The callers usually disconnect the call immediately after you answer.

Authorities have strongly advised against calling back these numbers. Doing so could expose your personal data, such as your contact list, bank account details, credit card information, and other sensitive information, which can be stolen within seconds.
