Wanaparthy: Acting on the instructions of Excise Superintendent Srinivasulu, officials conducted inspections near Chityala in the Wanaparthy Mandal on Saturday. During the operation, 10 litres of illicit liquor were seized.
District Excise Sub-Inspector (SI) Sandhya Rani issued a warning to those involved in producing and selling illicit liquor. She emphasized that strict actions, including registering cases, would be taken against violators.
In a related incident, Ketavath Dipla was taken into custody. He was caught transporting illicit liquor from Chityala Padamati Tanda to Chityala village. SI Sandhya Rani confirmed that a case has been filed against him.
