IMD forecasts heavy rain in the state for the next 5 days

Hyderabad: Over the next five days, several districts in Telangana are expected to experience significant rainfall. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) in Hyderabad has issued both orange and yellow alerts for these regions.

A resurgence of the southwest monsoon has led to this prediction. A low-pressure area in the Bay of Bengal is causing the increased rainfall. On Monday, heavy rain is anticipated in Adilabad, Asifabad, Mancherial, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Bhupalpally, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanmakonda, Medak, Kamareddy, and Nagarkurnool. Isolated areas in Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Mulugu, Kothagudem, Jangaon, Siddipet, Bhuvanagiri, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajgiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Mahabubnagar, and Wanaparthy may also see heavy rains. Alerts have been issued accordingly.

On Tuesday, heavy rain is likely in Adilabad, Asifabad, Mancherial, Peddapalli, Bhupalapally, Mulugu, Kothagudem, Khammam, Mahabubabad, Warangal, and Hanmakonda. An orange alert has been put in place. Additionally, isolated heavy rain is expected in Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Karimnagar, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Janagaon, Siddipet, Bhuvanagiri, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajgiri, Medak, and Kamareddy.

Wednesday’s forecast suggests heavy rains, possibly with thunder, lightning, and strong winds, in Adilabad, Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanmakonda, Janagaon, and Siddipet.
