The BRS party in Mahabubnagar is looking for new candidates for the upcoming parliament elections. They have decided to not field the existing MP candidates and are searching for new faces for both Mahabubnagar and Nagarkurnool constituencies.

Former Minister Dr. V Srinivas Goud wanted to contest as an MP, but the party is seeking a new candidate with a clean image. The party believes that giving tickets to sitting MLA candidates led to their defeat in the recent Assembly elections, so they do not want to make the same mistake again.

For Nagarkurnool, they are unsure about a candidate since the current MP joined the BJP. Three potential candidates are competing for the BRS ticket from Nagarkurnool, with Goreti Venkanna being seen as the most likely choice.
