The ISKCON Miyapur Temple is preparing to celebrate the Sri Krishna Janmashtami Mahotsav on Monday, August 26. The event will take place at the HMT Swarnapuri Colony Community Hall in Ameenpur. This information was shared by the temple’s president, Sriram Das.
The festival will run from 7 AM to 11 PM and will include many spiritual and cultural activities. Attendees can look forward to Krishna Darshan, Abhishekam, cultural performances, Kirtan, and the distribution of Prasadam. Sriram Das emphasized the importance of the occasion and invited devotees to participate in various ‘seva’ opportunities to receive blessings from Lord Krishna.
The celebrations won’t stop there. On August 27, the festivities will continue with Nandotsavam and the Vyasa Puja of Srila Prabhupada at the same venue. Sriram Das encouraged devotees to bring their families and friends to join in the joyful and auspicious festival.
The ISKCON community expects a lively and vibrant gathering that will celebrate faith, culture, and togetherness during this special time in the Hindu calendar.
