Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy recently attended a spiritual gathering at Sumangali function hall in Suryapet. He expressed his gratitude to the Brahmin community for their historic contributions to society. During his speech, Reddy highlighted the important roles played by Brahmins in Ayurvedic medicine, Mangala instrument artistry, and as barbers.
Reddy, who is also the BRS candidate for Suryapet, received overwhelming support from the Brahmin community at the event. He spoke about the days when Brahmins served as the first generation of doctors, treating various illnesses without modern medicine. He also praised their role as midwifery nurses, assisting in childbirth, and their contributions to wedding ceremonies through their enchanting Mangala instrument performances.
