Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy accused TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu of deceiving farmers by failing to fulfill promises of loan waivers. He distributed financial assistance under the YSR Rythu Bharosa and Sunna Vaddi Panta Runalu schemes.

The Chief Minister emphasized that during Naidu’s tenure, farmers paid substantial amounts annually in interest and compound interest. The financial support under the Rythu Bharosa and Sunna Vaddi Panta Runalu schemes benefited a large number of farmers in the state.

Jagan credited the state government for consistently providing financial aid to farmers through various schemes, including YSR Rythu Bharosa. He highlighted the direct assistance to farmers’ bank accounts and the commitment to supporting farming as a profitable enterprise.

The state government’s initiatives for farmers included free crop insurance, quality power supply, and support through Rythu Bharosa Kendras at the village level. Jagan stressed the state’s unique approach to providing premium-free crop insurance and input subsidies to aid farmers during difficult seasons.
