Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, has criticized opposition parties for boycotting the inauguration of the new Parliament building by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He believes that such a boycott goes against the true spirit of democracy. He has urged all political parties to attend the event, and his party, the YSR Congress Party, will be attending.

In a tweet on Wednesday, Jagan Mohan Reddy congratulated the Prime Minister for dedicating the grand and spacious Parliament building to the nation. He believes that Parliament is the temple of democracy, representing the soul of our nation and belonging to all political parties and the people of our country.

This tweet followed the announcement by 19 opposition parties, including Congress, that they would boycott the inauguration on May 28 due to the Prime Minister’s decision to inaugurate it himself, sidelining President Droupadi. The opposition parties believe that this decision insults the high office of the President and violates the Constitution.

Jagan Mohan Reddy appeals to all political parties to put aside their differences and attend the event in the true spirit of democracy.
