Hyderabad – DMK Afzal, a legendary Indian footballer and 1962 Asian Games gold medallist, passed away on Wednesday, leaving the sports community in mourning.
Jayesh Ranjan, Special Chief Secretary for Tourism and Sports, expressed deep sorrow over the loss. On Thursday, he extended heartfelt condolences to Afzal’s family, friends, and former teammates.
