Hyderabad is getting ready for the grand Miss World 2024 event starting on May 10, and security across the city is being tightened to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Large numbers of police forces from nearby districts have been brought into the city. Their main job is to monitor the event closely and keep everyone safe, especially around key locations.
The city’s officials have marked important areas as Orange and Green Zones. These include the event venues and hotels hosting international delegates. In these zones, movement of vehicles and people will be restricted, and only those with proper clearance will be allowed.
Top police officials are taking charge of the arrangements. Additional Director Generals (ADGPs) from Law and Order, Greyhounds, and Octopus units are working together to coordinate security. The Cyberabad Police Commissionerate is also heavily involved. They are checking everything from traffic plans and emergency responses to public safety and smooth organization of cultural activities.
The grand opening ceremony is set to take place in Gachibowli, and departments are making sure all parts of the event plan are executed efficiently. Authorities have reviewed inter-department cooperation to avoid any confusion during the event.
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has instructed officials to follow the event schedule closely. He has also asked for a nodal officer to be assigned to each program taking place between May 10 and May 31, ensuring each one has clear leadership and coordination.
As Hyderabad prepares to welcome the world, the city is focused on combining glamour with safety.
