A police officer died in Jubilee Hills on Sunday night. It happened when Veera Swamy, who worked with the Grey Hounds, was riding his motorcycle. It had rained heavily that night, and his vehicle slipped on the Jubilee Hills checkpost road. He fell on the pavement and touched an electrical pole, which electrocuted him. Sadly, he died on the spot.
The police arrived and took his body to the mortuary. They have also opened a case.
