Hyderabad is getting ready for the annual Fish Prasadam event on June 9th. This medicine has been given to asthma patients for 175 years by the Bathini Goud family. People from all over the state come to take it because they believe it can help them breathe better. Covid-19 stopped the event from happening for the past three years, but now it’s back!
Patients can get the Fish Prasadam at the Exhibition Grounds starting at 9 am on Friday. The Fisheries Department is providing over 1.30 lakh fishlings and there will be over 250 volunteers to help asthma patients get their medicine. Queues have been set up to make sure everyone can take the medicine without any problems.
