Telangana Jagruthi leader Kalvakuntla Kavitha plans to visit various districts in Hyderabad soon. She aims to meet with intellectuals, poets, artists, social workers, and experts to gather public opinions and suggestions for committees.
Kavitha has announced the second phase of restructuring Telangana Jagruthi on Vijayadashami, focusing on social justice. She mentioned that the third and final phase will be revealed soon. Her goal is to create a socially aware and culturally rich Telangana.
A significant change is the appointment of senior Scheduled Tribe (ST) leader Lakavat Roop Singh as the working president. This reflects the group’s commitment to fair representation for all communities. Kavitha stated that over 80% of the new state executive positions are filled by people from backward and marginalized communities, emphasizing inclusive growth and grassroots leadership.
New committee members are encouraged to embrace the values of Telangana Jagruthi and work towards cultural and social empowerment. Kavitha remains president, with Lakavat Roop Singh as working president. The vice presidents are Riyazuddin, Manchala Varalakshmi, P Srikanth Rao, Kottala Yadagiri, and Kol Srinivas. R Naveen Achari is the General Secretary, and Jadi Srinivas, Gunti Sundar, and Senapati Archana are State Secretaries.
Leadership roles in various affiliated wings have also been appointed. J Srinivas will lead the Labour Wing, and Venkataramana Murthy will head the Medical Wing. Ketavat Ravinder Naik is the president of Banjara Jagruthi. In the Youth Jagruthi wing, Sheikh Hussain is the General Secretary and Naveen Gogikar the vice president.
The MBC Wing will be led by General Secretary Hakinkar Surender and vice president Boddapalli Koteshwara Chari. Rudraram Srinivas Rajaka is the vice president of the BC Wing. Kavitha emphasized that Telangana Jagruthi is more than just a cultural platform; it is a driving force for empowering all sections of society.
