KCR: TS transforms from rice bowl to emerging rail coach exporter in India

Telangana is becoming an exporter of rail coaches, according to Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. He made the statement at the inauguration of the Medha Rail Coach Factory in Kondakal. The factory is the largest private coach factory in India and will create job opportunities for local youth. Telangana-based Medha Servo Group and Stadler Rail established the rail coach manufacturing at Kondakal with an investment of Rs 1,000 crore. The factory has already supplied 160 coaches to the railways and plans to expand further. Ministers and officials were present at the event.
