KCR: White coat revolution to safeguard Telangana

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao announced that the white coat revolution will protect Telangana. He virtually inaugurated nine medical colleges in the state, one per district. Chandrashekar Rao compared the importance of white blood cells in the human body to the role of white coats in protecting Telangana.

The chief minister expressed pride in the progress of the health sector in Telangana, stating that it serves as an inspiration for the country. He mentioned that, in the past, rulers in undivided Andhra Pradesh doubted the ability of people from Telangana to govern, but now the state is a role model. Nursing colleges will also be established in all districts alongside the medical colleges.

The newly opened medical colleges are located in Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Karimnagar, Kamareddy, Khammam, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Nirmal, Rajanna Sircilla, Vikarabad, and Jangaon.

Health Minister T Harish Rao praised the chief minister for starting nine medical colleges in a single day, a first in the country’s history. He recalled that eight medical colleges were opened last year. Harish Rao congratulated the students who enrolled in the courses on Friday.
