Hyderabad: Telangana BJP President and Union Minister G Kishan Reddy said it is a good sign that Hindus across India and the world are celebrating Sri Rama Navami with great enthusiasm.
He was speaking at the Shobha Yatra rally in Amberpet on Sunday, held to mark the festival. He praised the efforts of young people who are coming together in many temples across thousands of villages to organize Shobha Yatras and Sita Rama Kalyanam events on a large scale.
The Union Minister said that after the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, there has been a clear rise in devotion and commitment among people. He called this a positive and encouraging change.
He added that the success of these religious events shows growing unity among Hindus and said this unity will continue to strengthen in the future. He also stated that secularism can thrive only if the Hindu population remains strong and stressed the need to keep promoting unity among Hindus.
