Hyderabad: Union Minister and BJP State President G Kishan Reddy has encouraged everyone to display the Indian flag at their homes. This is part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ initiative, which was introduced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. On Wednesday, after raising the national flag in Nampally, the Union Minister highlighted that these celebrations are being conducted on a grand scale, with the involvement of people from all over, under the guidance of the Central government.

He mentioned that 25 crore people across the country hoisted the national flag at their homes to mark 75 years of Independence. He urged everyone to keep this spirit alive until Independence Day. Voluntary organizations and student groups are encouraged to hold rallies to inspire people and showcase the country’s unity. Later on, he took part in inaugurating and launching several development projects in the Musheerabad division. These projects included work on a drainage pipeline and CC road, with MP Dr. K Laxman and local MLA Muta Gopal also participating.

While speaking to the media, Kishan Reddy pointed out that Hyderabad is not just about the Hi-Tec city. Areas like Old City, Amberpet, and Musheerabad also form an essential part of Hyderabad. He emphasized the importance of working together to improve infrastructure across the city. He also noted that even though Hyderabad contributes significantly to the state’s revenue, it hasn’t been receiving a fair share of funds.
