Komati criticizes CM KCR for disregarding the needs of the people

Nalgonda: Congress MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy showed support for the protesting Panchayat workers in the district. He accused Chief Minister KCR of not caring about the people, except during elections.

The Panchayat workers’ statewide strike has been going on for 31 days now. Venkat Reddy praised the sanitation workers for their hard work during the pandemic and expressed disappointment that the government hasn’t made much progress in meeting their demands. He criticized the government for not implementing the court’s order on minimum wages and questioned their sudden interest in merging RTC workers.

Venkat Reddy assured the gathering that if Congress is elected, their salaries would be increased within three months. He also took a dig at CM KCR, stating that he only cares about his family’s well-being and neglects the genuine needs of the gram panchayat workers.
