Hyderabad: KT Rama Rao, the BRS Working President, criticized the government over the Srisailam Left Bank Canal (SLBC) tunnel collapse. He said that once BRS gains power, they will ensure justice for the families of the six men affected.
The tunnel collapse happened over 200 days ago, leading to the death of eight workers, according to Rama Rao. He accused the current government of negligence and corruption, saying they failed to recover six bodies and provide any compensation to the families.
Rama Rao also questioned the lack of action by the Union Government. He pointed out that the government quickly sent a team to the Kaleshwaram Project over small issues but ignored the SLBC incident. He accused the BJP of protecting the Congress in Telangana, calling it an unholy alliance.
He stated that the day BRS returns to power, they will seek justice for the families. Those responsible for the deaths will be held accountable, and the party promises to uncover the truth behind the SLBC tunnel collapse.
