BRS, a political party in Hyderabad, may be regretting their decision to establish 32 medical colleges in the state. They believe that this move did not help them secure enough votes in the recent Assembly elections. BRS working president KT Rama Rao expressed his opinion on the matter, suggesting that instead of medical colleges, party chief K Chandrashekar Rao should have set up 32 YouTube channels to counter propaganda. Rama Rao made this comment on X while discussing the election results announced on December 3.
Rama Rao mentioned that he has received interesting feedback and observations following the election results. He agreed with one particular observation that KCR garu should have focused on creating YouTube channels instead of medical colleges to combat fake propaganda. The BRS party faced a setback in the Assembly elections, winning only 39 seats and becoming the opposition party. The Congress party came into power in Telangana with 64 seats.
BRS leaders believe that Rama Rao’s comment refers to certain social media channels that spread fake messages and negatively impacted the party’s campaign. Some individuals with political affiliations targeted BRS on social media, according to a senior BRS leader.
