    The Central Election Committee (CEC) has announced the timetable for the upcoming MLC elections in Mahabubnagar, set to take place on March 28. District Collector G Ravi Nayak made the announcement on Tuesday.

    A notification detailing the election process will be released on March 4. The election code enforcement has started in Mahabubnagar, Narayanpet, Jogulamba Gadwal, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Vikarabad, and Rangareddy districts. Nomination period will be from March 11 to March 12, with scrutiny on March 14. Polling will happen from 8 AM to 4 PM starting on March 28 and ending on April 2, with vote counting on April 4.

    District collectors have been instructed to grant permissions for meetings, gatherings, rallies, and issue permits for microphones and vehicles.
