The Road over Bridge (RoB) at LC Gate 250 in Bolarum, Hyderabad may not be built after all. Currently, the railway gate at this location is closed for track maintenance, causing heavy traffic congestion. Locals are frustrated and are asking South Central Railways (SCR) to widen the road to accommodate the gate boom length since the current lane is too narrow.

LC-250 serves as a vital link between National Highway-44 at Kompally and Rajiv Rahadari, leading to frequent traffic jams with long queues of vehicles waiting for hours. Murali Krishna, president of the Federation of New Bolarum Colonies (FNBC), emphasized the need for road widening as a permanent solution to ease traffic congestion and benefit thousands of commuters and pedestrians.

The RoB project has been delayed for years due to alignment issues with the State government and GHMC. Residents like Reynold Das Kuntam are tired of waiting and suggest extending the road by 6 feet and replacing speed breakers with rumble strips. Commuters face daily hardships due to temporary closures of the rail gate for maintenance, prompting locals like Raj Sekhar to call for immediate road widening to match the gate boom length.
