In the district’s four municipalities, the numbers are slightly better. Out of 26,604 applications, 11,397 applicants got rebate-based fee notices. But only 3,504 of them—roughly 30.74%—have paid.

    Here’s a breakdown by municipality:

    – In Gadwal Municipality, 14,387 applications were filed. Fee notices were issued to 4,000, and 1,845 made the payment.
    – In Aija Municipality, 9,845 applied, 5,244 received notices, and 1,158 completed the payment.
    – In Vaddepally, 1,941 people applied, 1,787 got notices, but only 379 paid.

Collector Santosh urged the remaining 19,545 applicants who haven’t paid yet to take advantage of the extension. He encouraged them to act quickly before the May 31, 2025 deadline.

He also advised plot owners who face difficulties in fee payment to visit their local offices. Those in municipal areas should contact their municipal office, while residents of Gram Panchayat areas should reach out to their village panchayat secretary or the District Panchayat Officer.

Applicants can also check their status and pay the fee online at the official LRS portal: https://lrs.telangana.gov.in/layouts/Citizenlogin.aspx. Once the payment is made, documents will be verified and processed quickly through the L1, L2, and L3 levels.

The Collector appealed to all plot owners to complete the regularization process without delay. This is a valuable chance to legalize land ownership with a 25% rebate, and applicants shouldn’t miss it.
