Nalgonda: Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy opened a modern MLA camp office and ministerial residence called ‘Indira Bhavan’ on Monday. This new facility, located near the Clock Tower in Nalgonda town, cost Rs 13 crore to build and includes five bedrooms, a video conference hall, staff quarters, and security rooms.
After the puja ceremony, the minister spoke to the media. He said the camp office is meant for use by the Chief Minister, ministers, and visiting MLAs, not just one MLA. Naming it Indira Bhavan honors its accessibility to everyone.
The minister announced Rs 20 crore for public offices in Nakrekal, including a hospital opening in November. Efforts are in progress in Brahmana Vellemla and Narketpally to restore tanks and boost tourism.
Plans include double-decker elevated roads from LB Nagar to Hayathnagar. Discussions with Union Minister Nitin Gadkari focused on national highway expansions. A greenfield expressway is also planned via Nalgonda.
Other projects involve the Rs 200 crore Young India Residential School, road developments in Miryalaguda, and improving health infrastructure.
Legislative Council Chairman Gutha Sukhender Reddy and several MLAs urged for quick completion of regional projects. Officials and public representatives attended the event, highlighting the government’s dedication to fast-tracking development in Nalgonda district.
