Mailardevpally Police Arrest Two for Manufacturing and Selling Adulterated Food Items

The Mailardevpally Police have apprehended two individuals for manufacturing and selling adulterated food items in unhygienic conditions. The arrests came following reliable information that led police teams to conduct raids at Subhan Colony and Laxmiguda areas in Hyderabad.

During the operation, authorities discovered that the accused were preparing food products by mixing harmful chemicals and expired ingredients. These adulterated items were being supplied to local shops across Hyderabad, posing serious health risks to consumers and violating food safety regulations.

The police have registered two separate cases in connection with the illegal operations. Case No. 242/2026 and Case No. 243/2026 have been filed under sections 125, 318(4), and 274 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) at Mailardevpally Police Station.

The first accused has been identified as Abdul Haque, aged 54 years, son of Abdul Khalique, residing at Subhan Colony. He is the owner of Lucky Foods Company, which was found to be operating the illegal food manufacturing unit.

The second accused is Mohammed Qameruddin, aged 70 years, son of Mohammed Mazher Uddin, residing at Brundavan Colony in Laxmiguda. He owns M/s Zee Foods, another establishment involved in the adulterated food production racket.

Police teams seized substantial quantities of adulterated food items and related manufacturing materials during the raids. The unhygienic conditions in which these food products were being prepared raised serious concerns about public health and safety standards.

The manufacturing units were operating without proper licenses and were found to be in gross violation of food safety norms. The accused were supplying their products to various local shops in the city, potentially affecting a large number of consumers.

Further investigation into the matter is currently underway. Police are working to identify the extent of the distribution network and the shops that received these adulterated food items. Authorities are also examining whether more individuals are involved in this illegal operation.
