    Hyderabad: The Hans India organized a full marathon to raise awareness against suicides, and it successfully brought together different sections of society to spread this message. A septuagenarian lady who participated in the run wrote an article explaining how the marathon became a platform to fight against the increasing suicidal tendencies in society. Some participants pledged to continue spreading this message through the social organizations they work with for the betterment of society.

    The President of Agarwal Samaj, Manish Agarwal, and Vice President Purshottam Agarwal inaugurated the 10k run and expressed their strong support for the cause. They promised to do whatever they can to fight against suicides. Prominent members of the Samaj who also supported the marathon and its aim included Dinesh Agarwal, Pawan Ajitsaria, Krish Mittal, Amit Jindal, Dheeraj Agarwal, and Mayur Sonthelia. Techies from TCS also showed keen interest in the marathon, stating that the fight against suicides is crucial.

    All the participants of the full marathon expressed their happiness with the meticulous arrangements made by the police. They were able to run without facing any traffic problems along the route. The prize winners emphasized that the marathon sent a powerful message that suicide is not a solution to problems. DGP Anjani Kumar and IG Ramesh Reddy were vocal in motivating the participants to carry forward the message that life is full of problems, but every problem has a solution. They emphasized the importance of not slipping into depression and resorting to such extreme measures as suicide.

    Several organizations, including Dettol, Haldirams, T-hub, Anu furniture, ICSI, Suvarnabhumi, Union Bank of India, Hyundai, GoPain, and Max fit, joined the campaign against suicide and contributed to the success of the marathon.
