Hyderabad Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi has urged officials to quickly resolve public complaints. On Monday, she participated in the Prajavani program at the GHMC headquarters, where people shared their problems directly with her.

Vijayalakshmi stressed that the administration is committed to solving citizens’ issues. She assured that each complaint will be thoroughly examined and swiftly addressed with the help of relevant officials. She emphasized the need for officials to avoid delays in responding to these concerns.

During the Prajavani program, officials reported receiving numerous complaints about sanitation, road repairs, drainage, and property tax.

The Mayor personally interacted with the complainants, listening carefully to their issues. She highlighted that whether people bring their grievances to Prajavani in person or use the online portal and mobile app, their concerns will be prioritized. Citizen involvement is vital for making Hyderabad a more developed city, she reiterated.

GHMC Commissioner RV Karnan has instructed all Prajavani complaints be handled promptly. He stressed that officials are responsible for addressing complaints related to their departments and must actively work on each submission. He warned that delays would result in disciplinary actions.
