Telangana Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan expressed her shock over the recent attack on Medak MP and BRS Dubbak MLA candidate Kotha Prabhakar Reddy during an election campaign in Surampalli of Doulthabadmandal. She strongly condemned the act of violence and stated that it has no place in a democratic society. She emphasized that such incidents pose a threat to the democratic process.

Governor Soundararajan has directed the Director General of Police to take strict measures in investigating the attack and ensuring the safety of all candidates and campaigners during the election period. She stressed the importance of maintaining a peaceful and secure environment for conducting free and fair elections. She also expressed her wishes for a speedy recovery of Kotha Prabhakar Reddy.
