Medals Won by OU Students at Khelo India Games in Hyderabad

Lokesh from Osmania University won a gold medal in fencing at the Khelo India University Games 2023 in Uttar Pradesh on Thursday. This is a big success for Osmania University and a morale booster for younger athletes. The university students have already won silver and bronze medals in rowing events, and Hemalatha and Shaik Nazia won gold medals in lightweight single scale 500 meters event and fencing event, respectively, on Wednesday. Prof Vaddepalli Satyanarayana, Secretary of Board of Control Inter University Tournaments of Osmania University, thanked the OU Vice-Chancellor Prof D Ravinder for his constant support and encouragement for sports.
