    The medical and health department, along with the National AIDS Control Society and the faculty of the Degree College, organized a 5k run in Gadwal to celebrate International Youth Day. The aim of the run was to raise awareness about AIDS and HIV among young people. Cash prizes were given to the winners from the government degree college.

    During the event, Deputy DM&HO Dr. Siddappa and Principal Sripathi Naidu spoke about the importance of nutrition, exercise, and mental health. They emphasized that a healthy body leads to a healthier society, which in turn creates a healthy nation.

    The Principal of the Degree College, Dr. Sripathi Naidu, Vijaya Lakshmi, Haribabu, Dr. Sravanthi, G Krishna Sagar DPA, and Prem Sagar DPM also participated in the morning event in Gadwal.
